Leinenstoff
I am not so familiar with an azalea itself, but highly interesetd in plants in general, especially because of the materials that are obtained from them, such as Leinenstoff. As far as I know, Leinenstoff is made out of the fibres of the flax plants, still, does that automatically mean that if you plant such a flower you are able to produce or manufacture your own Leinenstoff?
As you told on your website you are pretty cool with flowers and everything that goes with it, I just thought I will grap the chance and ask you if you see any possibilty for me to have my own Leinenstoff in the future? I know it might take a while and also might be neccessary to spend some money on special equipment such as professionals squeezing machines or something alike.
I read some details about the positive attributes of Leinenstoff and flax and learned that linnen is labor-intensive to manufacture and also that flax is an erect plant with slender stem. Those glaucous green of the leaves and the pale blue flowers must look gorgeous. In case the process of getting own Leinenstoff in the end won`t go the right way, I still have the beatutyfull plant in my garden, that can be compared with the beauty of an azalea, what do you think? Did you ever produce your own Leinenstoff or have any experience with flax? I would be happy about any hint or link to someone who kows more details about the producing of Leinenstoff, still thank you for the beautifull website.
